Audio Section

We have composed the music and beds for a number of BBC and Flexitech television show pilots.

Our music has also featured in a computer game.

The audio below is a sample selection of what we can offer.
We wanted a few certain bits of some certain songs for our first dance... not ones to be overly traditional and all that so we contacted Dark Lord Design and despite the tracks being a seriously random and bizarre mixture of tones, pitches, tempos and styles, the result is absolute perfection! They even put in a extra romantic bit and also a wish to us of their own at the end, asking everyone to toast us! We couldn't have asked for better! Would recommend them to anyone!

As a tribute to all Amigans still on the scene, especially at Amiga World, some MP3s are available for free download at the bottom of this page. All tracks © Dark Lord Design. MP3s are free to distribute for no monetary gain, with credit to the author.

What If Tomorrow Never Comes What If Tomorrow Never Comes

I wrote this song when a good friend of mine, Rob, was tragicaly killed by a drunk driver on his way to Cardiff for a night out. RIP my friend.
He initially introduced me to my wife and he is sadly missed.
His funeral was on September 11th, when the twin towers fell, the surrealist day of my life.
Composed with Octamed Sound Studio on Amiga 1200 with Yamaha XG midi board.

Free Your Mind

This was co-written by Treblesix and SecondOne, whilst in Cymru Amiga User Group.
A dance/trance composition composed with Octamed Sound Studio with Yamaha XG midi board.

Ballad Of A Maiden Ballad Of A Maiden

A medieval composition with a modern vibe.
Composed with Octamed Sound Studio on Amiga 1200 with Yamaha XG midi board.

Clairvoyant (Iron Maiden)

A MIDI version of Iron Maiden's Clairvoyant.
I didn't have access to any of the drum music, so all drums are from scratch and how I think they sound from the real song.
Composed in Octamed Sound Studio on Amiga 1200 with Yamaha XG midi board.
Iron Maiden (Clairvoyant)

VOID VOID

Originally composed on an Amiga 500. I wasn't happy with it and re-wrote a lot of it on my 1200 in Octamed Sound Studio.
Features 8 native Amiga channels, 8 bit samples, with cross-echo and panning. Get stoned and listen to it :)

Guitars At Midnight

This was composed to go with a SCALA presentation at World of Amiga 99 in London for Cymru Amiga User Group. It played through-out the presentation.
I was dressed as the reaper and the CAUG secretary was dressed as the 'Linux kernal'.
Written in a drunken few evenings before the event on an Amiga 1200 with Yamaha XG midi board.
Thanks to MMS, Nantgarw for supplying prizes for our draw at the show.
Guitars At Midnight

Sorrow Sorrow

The main riff was recorded on guitar then looped through Octamed Sound Studio. the guitar was recorded live over the top.

Toccata

A practise take of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.
Very rough but thought I should upload it as its  quite cute in its roughness.
The mic is too close to the guitar and distorts it terribly, but it captures a moment in time, which I recall almost too vivdly.
